The Mending Broken Hearts project is a Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Institute of Health Research funded Research Chair in Indigenous Women's Heart and Brain Health awarded to Dr. Bernice Downey at McMaster University. This project is in partnership with three community partners, De dwa da dehs nye>s Aboriginal Health Centre, Missisaugas of the Credit First Nation, and Lake St. Martin First Nation.
